The North end of Lake norman is bordered by I-77 and Hwy 150. There are currently two Mooresville exits on I-77 and construction is being completed on a third exit. Sherrills Ford is west of Moorseville just north of Highway 150.  Troutman can be reached from I-77 by way of exit 36 in Mooresville or exit 42 in Troutman.
